The
stroke-test group of products has been specifically designed to
provide partial stroke testing of quarter turn valves with failsafe
pneumatic actuators.
The compact and simple designed 'Stroke-Test' is fitted between
the valve and actuator, replacing the usual valve-actuator coupling.
Operating the lever automatically disconnects the valve from the
actuator, whatever the failure condition of the site.
It can also be customised to any customer's exact rotational requirements
at our factory.
In test mode, a shaft mounted stop cam is rotated 90 degrees to
cause contact between a normally rotating segment drive and the
stop shaft. This contact prevents further rotation of the valve.
During normal operating mode, the segment driver is free to rotate.
A wide range of options is available, including remote operation,
remote postion indication and a 0 degree lockout. |
