Eclipse – a SIL3 spring return single acting actuator complete with a mechanical partial stroking device. The whole assembly canbe provided ready to fit to your original host valve, or it can  be provided inmodular form i.e. separate actuator and stroke test unit. The system is customized and selected based on the operating torque and functionality of your existing system, and includes a position indicator, partial stroking device and double keyway drive connecting the valve and actuator with the sandwich mounted Stroke-Test unit. All necessary on-board controls and instrumentation is included.  Our intention is to give the client only two connections to make to get the equipment operational after installation  – electrical and pneumatic.

The Eclipse – is a SIL3 group of products has been specifically designed to provide partial stroke testing of quarter turn valves with spring return, fail safe pneumatic actuators, but other applications can be considered, if required. 

The Eclipse Stroke-Test unit is a sandwich mounted device located between the pneumatic actuator and the host valve. Stroke-Test mechanically limits the valve stem rotation to 20 degrees as standard, but this can be changed to suit customers differing requirements.

All Eclipse packages are supplied with full SIL3 rating and will be accompanied by a SAR (Safety Analysis Report).
